I wrote and recorded this track during a time when I found myself referring to too much in life as "too feel-goody," like, for instance, a lot of softer sentiments about world politics at a time that I think will always be the time for a while for more radical reconstructions of policy and thought. But the truth was, I wasn't "feeling good" in life. This song is about needing to take a deep breath and "feel good" in your own skin as a jumping off point before you can positively impact that which your gut says just don't "feel good." Ya dig?
